Toe Beans or Donuts?
Where does your inspiration come from? Mine comes from kitten paws.
When I was growing up, one of my favorite treats was a cake donut with pink frosting and coconut. Today, I tried to recreate it.
The donut turned out fine, though I’ve got some ideas for improving it. The icing, however, was only adequate. For starters, I used too much food coloring (3 drops) and didn’t achieve the shade of pink I had been hoping for. But more importantly, the flavor was just okay. Not strong or sweet enough. I can do better. Guess I need to make more donuts now to try out some different options.
