Chocolate Covered Leilani

Sometimes a kitten is so cute you just want to dip them in chocolate (but don’t!)

I love donuts, and with the current stay at home order I decided I should be making my own instead of heading out. Plus, I’ll take any opportunity to use my “fancy” bakeware. I don’t remember when or why I purchased my donut pan, but I’m sure glad I did. Making donuts is so easy, let’s make lots!

While using a piping bag to put the batter into the donut pan isn’t actually necessary, it does make it less messy given how thick the batter is. For the glaze, just be patient and the lumps will disappear. Don’t turn up the heat!

Finally, make sure to enjoy your donut with a hot beverage and a fuzzy kitten.
